Previously, I submitted my first 'Haruhi' fan comic. This time, I submit my rough drawing that I did at my friend house after watching 'Haruhi' dvd. He kindly invited me to watch dvd, and we practised to draw 'Haruhi' characters for his Haruhi doujinshi. (doujinshi= a self published fan comic book. He asked me to join his project to publish his own Haruhi fan comic book. As I haven't seen the anime, I needed to watch it to study the style.)
It was so fan to watch anime with somebody, and practise to draw the characters with others. I've never done it before. I want to do it again. Could you invite me to watch some anime/cartoon and draw together? ^.^
I drew Kyon, Nagato, and their classmate. I forgot her name. She tries to kill Kyon by a knife to see how Haruhi will react Kyon's death.
I drew it by a brush without watching dvd after we enjoyed the anime. Because I drew it just after watching the anime, the style might be similar to the show more than my comic. (I hope so, hahah). I don't have the original work cos I gave the picture to my friend. I took the photo by my digital camera when I drew it then submitted on dA. It may look messy because I didn't scan it, just took photo. Sorry for poor quality.
The layout may be strange, but I hope you forgive me cos I drew it without any rough drawing, directly drew by a brush with a black ink. However, it is realy fan to draw by a brush without any rough... because I can't predict how the picture will look in the end. Sometimes it turns to bad, sometimes it turns to nice art work. Also I can really concentrate the work cos I can't fix the line. I love the tense feeling. Does anybody agree with me to draw by a brush freely?
